Developing BMX Riders Since 2002

BMX (Bicycle Motocross) begin in the 1970s and is one of the fastest growing sports globally. As a family-oriented sport for participants of all ages and skill levels, the Oldsmar BMX Supercross Track is the perfect place for new riders and families to introduce themselves to this high-energy activity and for more experienced competitors to train and compete.

The starting hills at the Oldsmar BMX Supercross Track serve both amateur and elite riders from either the five-meter or eight-meter “Supercross” starting hill. As with most sports, there is a progression for riders as they advance their skill levels through their experience in the sport.

The original Oldsmar BMX Track opened in 2002. In 2014, USA BMX authorized the development of the Supercross Track, which opened in October of 2015. Track and race sanctioning is an important element for riders and local tracks alike. Oldsmar’s BMX track is designated as an official USA BMX Training Site in the State of Florida.
